What do I
need to do? |
It’s quick and easy. Just make sure you or your family members are eligible (see below). Then call to set up a convenient time to meet with someone from the Minnesota Department of Health to collect samples of your blood, fluid from your nose, and saliva. |
Who is eligible to be in the study? |
Anyone 3 years of age and older with:

What is pertussis? |
Pertussis (whooping cough) is a disease caused by a bacteria that affects the lungs. Pertussis is spread through the air in droplets produced during coughing or sneezing. It has become more common in recent years. This study will help us find better ways to test for pertussis |
