Pertussis Disease Statistics, 2006
Nationally, reported cases of pertussis continue to increase, including in Minnesota and surrounding states. The increase is not necessarily unexpected, since pertussis disease normally peaks every three to five years. The most recent peak year was 2000. The Minnesota Department of Health continues to monitor disease levels.
