Online syphilis training module

The STD/HIV Prevention Training Center of New England created an online training for clinicians. The training is free, and offers 1.25 CMEs and 1.5 Nursing Contact Hours.

How to take the training

  1. Review the materials here (PDF: 1.75MB/90 pages). The training may be downloaded for your convenience.

  2. To take the test, review “Getting Started” at www.bu.edu/cme/std/get-start.htm.

  3. Click on “Registration” on the navigation bar on the left to register for CMEs.

  4. After registering, you will be redirected to a “My Accounts” page. Click in “section 2: syphilis” and then “take the quiz” to the right.

  5. After successfully completing the quiz, you will be sent back to “My Accounts,” where a certificate of CMEs can be printed.
