2009 Tuberculosis (TB) Waivers Training
This training was produced in March 2009 by the Minnesota Department of Health (MDH), Tuberculosis Prevention and Control Program.
Purpose
To explain what health care facilities licensed in Minnesota need to know in order to comply with TB waivers issued by the MDH Compliance Monitoring Division.
Objectives
After completing this WebEx training, participants will be able to:
- Correctly identify their health care setting's TB risk classification
- Explain when the two-step tuberculin skin test should be used
- Describe the steps involved in employee screening for TB

Continuing education for nurses (CNE) credit and a certificate of participation are being granted to those who live or work in Minnesota.
