About Using Our Cover Your Cough Materials in Your Facility

Thank you for your interest in our Cover Your Cough materials. You are welcome to use our Cover Your Cough posters and brochures in your facility.

Printed materials:

  • We currently do not have any printed materials available at the Minnesota Department of Health. However, all of the materials are available on this website for you to download and print.

Dowloadable PDF files:

  • All of the Cover Your Cough materials are available on this website for you to download and print.
  • Any of the Cover Your Cough materials can be printed in black and white (greyscale) or in color.

Printer-ready files:

  • MDH no longer has copies of the CD-rom with printer-ready files available.

Adapting materials:

  • Please feel free to add your organization's contact information to the Cover Your Cough materials.

Content:

  • We ask that you not alter the content in any way.

Logos:

The majority of the Cover Your Cough materials have three logos (Minnesota Deparment of Health [MDH], Minnesota Antibiotic Resistance Collaborative [MARC], and the Association for Professionals in Infection Control and Epidemiology [APIC]).

  • If the document has three logos (MDH, MARC, and APIC):
    • Please leave all three logos.
    • You may remove the MDH contact information.
    • You may add your own logos and contact information.
  • If the document also has the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) and U.S. Department of Health and Human Services (HHS) logos:
    • These materials have been translated by the CDC.
    • Please leave all five (CDC, HHS, MDH, MARC, and APIC) logos.
    • You may remove the MDH contact information.
    • You may add your own logos and contact information.
  • If the document only has one logo (MDH):
    1. Please leave the MDH logo (you may remove the MDH contact information) and add your own logos and contact information.
      or
    2. If there is not enough space for your logo and ours, you may replace the MDH logo with the statement “Created by the Minnesota Department of Health.” and add your own logos and contact information.
