MDH Electronic Lab Reporting and MEDSS
Laboratory reporting is a critical component of disease surveillance. For laboratories that generate a significant number of reportable condition reports, Minnesota's electronic lab reporting (ELR) system provides a secure electronic means to automate reporting through an electronic network. ELR can improve the efficiency of lab reporting and enable public health to respond more quickly to reports.
Registration
MDH requests that all facilities/laboratories that want to start working on ELR fill out the a registration form and send it to health.MDHELR@state.mn.us.
