2006 Legislative Session Information
The legislature approved funding for MDH for the following:
Pandemic Influenza Preparedness--$5 million in fiscal year 2007 for planning and preparing for a pandemic influenza. The department is currently planning how the $5 million will be allocated. Please check our website for an update by the end of June.
e-Health--$1.5 million in fiscal year 2007 for grants and technical assistance to improve health information technology in out-state and under-served areas of Minnesota. Additional information on the grant application process will be posted on our website sometime later this summer. Please check back.
