This is a 1.5 hour webinar that features speakers from King County, WA; Albuquerque; Cincinnati; and Oakland, CA. Each speaker was asked to respond to the following core questions:

  1. How do you currently engage with communities in your Collective Impact work?
  2. In what ways have you tried to advance equity through your Collective Impact work?
  3. What lessons have you learned?
  4. What are the current challenges and opportunities? The speakers come from a local public health department; a mayor's office; and two community partnership organizations.

When to Use

Local public health leaders with responsibility for community engagement and/or health equity efforts could use this webinar to help stimulate ideas, plan for or troubleshoot challenges, or inform project planning. It is best used for individual learning, but could potentially be used by a project team as well.

Things to Consider

The speaker from Seattle & King County Public Health talks first. Some good examples are also offered by all speakers during the Q&A portion at the end of the webinar.
