Delegation Agreements for Locally Delivered Services

Since the passage of the Local Public Health Act in 1976, community health boards have had the opportunity to enter into a delegation agreement with the Minnesota Dept. of Health to provide public health protection services for food, pools, and lodging establishments. Local officials will learn what delegation agreements are all about; what it takes to have a robust local food, pools, and lodging program; and hear about potential challenges and benefits to the community.

Presenters: Pete Giesen, Olmsted County Public Health Services; Harlan Madsen, Kandiyohi County Commissioner
