This year’s format differs from previous years:

Monday, June 18 features the Rural Health Policy Forum and the Critical Access Hospital (CAH) Conference.
An evening reception brings both groups together along with those only attending the Tuesday sessions.
Tuesday, June 19 the Conference keynotes and breakout sessions take an in-depth look at how rural communities are maintaining and improving the quality and availability of health care services.
A $125* fee includes the Rural Health Policy Forum on Monday, the evening reception and the Rural Health Conference on Tuesday. (*those traveling over 250 miles one way and all speakers pay a reduced fee of $100; students pay $30).
This two-day event is designed for rural health care administrators and staff, policy analysts, rural health professionals, educators,state legislators, community leaders, state rural health advisory committee members, health plan representatives, students, state and local public health staff and other partners in rural communities.The Rural Health Policy Forum discusses and debates topics covered in the Rural Minnesota Journal published in March 2007. The CAH Conference includes hospital administrators and hospital representatives from the 79 Critical Access Hospitals in Minnesota.

The Minnesota Rural Health Conference is cosponsored by the Minnesota Department of Health - Office of Rural Health & Primary Care, the Minnesota Rural Health Association and the Rural Health Resource Center - Minnesota Center for Rural Health, along with the assistance of many other organizations concerned with rural health issues.
