SHIP Communities

The Statewide Health Improvement Program

Local control is a cornerstone for the Statewide Health Improvement Program.

Building on the achievements of the first four years of SHIP, 38 grantees covering nearly all of Minnesota are now leading the way to better health. The current round of SHIP began in November 2013, and the grantees are now at work selecting and implementing SHIP strategies that are right for their communities.
