NCAA requests: If you are contacting our program to inquire about sickle cell trait status due to the NCAA requirement for college athletes, we regret to inform you that we no longer have screening results or trait results for any child born before August 1, 2014.

We have been screening for sickle cell disease and sickle cell trait since 1988, so it is possible that the hospital where your child was born or the clinic that provided newborn care for your child may still have these records. If you cannot locate the newborn screening results from those sources, we recommend that you contact your child's clinic or doctor to obtain testing and/or contact the college's athletic department to determine next steps.

We apologize for any inconvenience this causes you and your athlete.
