Electronic Health Records
An Electronic Health Record (EHR) is a patient health record with up to date information that is used by doctors and other health care providers to provide high quality health care to you and your family. Minnesota law requires all health care providers to have an interconnected EHR by 2015.
When interconnected within one or more healthcare systems, EHRs can electronically move information securely between doctors, hospitals and other healthcare providers when it is needed for a patient’s care.
