HIT Provisions of the Federal Stimulus Package

On February 17, 2009, President Obama signed the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act of 2009 (ARRA). A portion of the law creates the Health Information Technology for Economic and Clinical Health Act or the HITECH Act.
