OMB (Office of Management & Budget):
The core mission of OMB is to serve the President of the United States in implementing his vision across the Executive Branch. OMB is the largest component of the Executive Office of the President. It reports directly to the President and helps a wide range of executive departments and agencies across the Federal Government to implement the commitments and priorities of the President. Reference: http://www.whitehouse.gov/omb/

Office of the National Coordinator for Health Information Technology (ONC): Coordinates nationwide efforts related to the implementation and use of electronic health information exchange. ONC is organizationally located within the Office of the Secretary for the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services (HHS). Reference: http://healthit.hhs.gov

OSELS (Office of Surveillance, Epidemiology, and Laboratory Services): OSELS’(Office of Surveillance, Epidemiology, and Laboratory Services at the CDC) mission is to provide scientific service, expertise, skills, and tools in support of CDC’s national efforts to promote health; prevent disease, injury and disability; and prepare for emerging health threats.
