Upper Midwest HIE Consortium Interstate Exchange Project
Through 2010-2011 Minnesota’s e-Health Privacy, Legal and Policy Workgroup has provided stakeholder input on the Upper Midwest Health Information Exchange (UM HIE) project which is charged to create concrete solutions to barriers affecting HIE for treatment purposes between the UM HIE states which include Minnesota (serving as lead state), Illinois, North Dakota, South Dakota, and Wisconsin. Below are the draft preliminary report materials that were reviewed by the workgroup on July 26, 2011. Additional comments are being sought on the report through August 2, 2011. Please provide feedback by email to MN.eHealth@state.mn.us.
