Minnesota e-Health Summit:

June 25-26, 2008
The 2008 MN e-Health Summit provides a forum for health leaders statewide to increase understanding of progress, barriers and opportunities from a state and national perspective on the effective use of Health Information Technology (HIT) and the progress towards the goal of interconnected electronic health records (EHR) for every provider in Minnesota by 2015.

General Information
The Fourth Annual Minnesota e-Health Summit: From Vision to Action.Information about the Demystifying EHR Planning & Selection Workshop and the Minnesota e-Health Summit 2008 on June 25-26 are in the full brochure (pdf 156Kb/6 pg). The summit keynote address will be given by Dr. Carolyn M. Clancy, Director of the Agency for Healthcare Research and Quality (AHRQ), who will be speaking about Making the Connection: Health Information Technology and Quality Health Care.
Successes and lessons learned from projects in Minnesota and elsewhere will be shared in eight breakout sessions focusing on electronic health records, population health, health information exchange, getting the board on board, preparing the workforce, and privacy and confidentiality.
