The supplies and materials you need to build a toolkit for teaching the SOS food safety curriculum, or MDH hand washing curriculum.

  • Ultraviolet light
    • Extension cord
  • Glowing potion and/or powder
  • Soap
  • Paper towels
  • Singing/dancing animal that lasts 20 seconds
  • Fake finger germs (5)
  • Rubber chicken
  • Telephone
  • Apple or other fruit
  • Sandwich
  • Sterile petri dishes (with agar)
  • Sterile cotton swabs or Q-tips
  • Distilled water
  • Masking tape
  • Permanent markers
  • Sandwich bags
  • Preservative free bread

  • Brown grocery bag
  • Paper lunch bags
  • Balloons
  • 3-600ml beakers
  • 2-250ml flasks

  • Packaged dry yeast

  • 3 Containers for water (buckets) or glass jars with lids
