Hospital Quality Reporting Steering Committee

The Hospital Quality Reporting Steering Committee—which includes hospital, physician, health plan, health informatics, State of Minnesota, consumer and employer representatives—serves in an advisory capacity to the Minnesota Department of Health (MDH) regarding measures to be used for hospitals in the Statewide Quality Reporting and Measurement System (Quality Reporting System).

The MN Legislature has asked MDH to revisit Minnesota’s measurement approach; therefore, MDH is not convening the Steering Committee during 2018. Instead, MDH will work toward developing a measurement framework in collaboration with a broad group of stakeholders. For more information on the framework development process and opportunities for input, please visit Measurement Framework.
