Health Care Quality Measures - Statewide Quality Report - 2010 Report
The Department of Health released an updated version of its 2010 Minnesota Health Care Quality Report to make some minor technical corrections. This updated report includes the following changes:
- Two provider names have been updated.
- Two providers placed in the wrong region were added to the correct region based on the Department’s county distribution.
- Optimal Diabetes Care data has been added to the results of two physician clinics.
- Additional physician clinics have a “not applicable” designation for certain measures to more accurately account for the specialties on site.
- A clarification has been made to the AHRQ Vaginal Tearing with or without an Instrument (PSI 18 and PSI 19) measures. AHRQ no longer risk adjusts these measures so the Department has updated the table of results and explanatory pieces to reflect this change. The original report did not take this methodological change into account.
