Notice of Availability of Contract for Establishing Health Care Spending Projections and Certifying Actual Health Care Spending

The Minnesota Department of Health (MDH) requests proposals to establish projections for Minnesota health spending, beginning with spending estimates for calendar year 2008; evaluate and make recommendations for improving the state’s health spending estimation methodology; and annually review and certify actual total health spending estimates prepared by MDH, beginning in 2010 with estimates for calendar year 2008.

Work is proposed to start after December 8, 2008.

A written request (by direct mail or e-mail) is required to receive the Request for Proposal.

Proposals submitted in response to the Request for Proposals in this advertisement must be received at the address above no later than 4:00 p.m., Central Time, November 10, 2008. Late proposals will not be considered. Faxed or e-mailed proposals will not be considered.

This request does not obligate the State to complete the work contemplated in this notice. The State reserves the right to cancel this solicitation. All expenses incurred in responding to this notice are solely the responsibility of the responder.
