Projection Request for Proposals (RFP) Tentative Consolidated Task Timeline
RFP process:
| • October 13, 2008: | Date RFP is issued. |
| • October 21, 2008: | Deadline for submission of written questions from prospective respondents. |
| • October 24, 2008: | Conference call with prospective respondents. |
| • October 28, 2008: | State provides written responses to submitted written questions. |
| • November 10, 2008: | Proposal due from responders. |
| • November 19, 2008: | Anticipated date for choosing contractor. |
| • December 8, 2008: | Contract in place. |
| • December 9, 2008: | Contractor begins work. |
| • December 2008: | Half-day kick-off meeting at MDH. |
Task One: Establish Projected Minnesota Health Spending Growth Rates for Calendar Years 2007 to 2018
| • March 2, 2009: | Contractor submits preliminary written report with projected health spending growth rates and methodology on how projections were constructed and what adjustments made to nation growth forecast. |
| • April 1, 2009 and April 1, 2010: | Contractor submits final written report. |
Task Two: Provide Recommendations on Improving Methodology for Estimating Health Spending
| • February 16, 2009: | Contractor provides preliminary written recommendations for improving the estimation methodology. |
| • March 2, 2009: | Contractor submits final written report with recommendations. |
Task Three: Annually Review and Certify Actual total Private and Public Health Spending Estimates
| • April 1, 2010: | MDH provides 2008 spending estimates to contractor. |
| • May 1, 2010: | Contractor certifies health spending estimates for calendar year 2008. |
