Serving the United States, its territories, and Canada, the Hotline is staffed 24 hours a day, 7 days a week with professional crisis counselors who, through interpreters, can provide assistance in 170 languages. The Hotline offers crisis intervention, information, literature, and referrals to thousands of emergency, social service, and support resources. All calls are anonymous and confidential."
  • Day One- Minnesota Domestic Violence Crisis Line (1-866-223-1111) : "Day OneĀ® has become a statewide program of Cornerstone and expanded its network to include 55 domestic violence programs throughout the Minnesota area. Together, we work to connect domestic violence victims to safety and services in one phone call. Our collaborative efforts result in stronger relationships, coordinated responses to barriers and the development of effective best practices."
  • Jacob Wetterling Resource Center : "The Jacob Wetterling Resource Center, a program of the National Child Protection Training Center, provides prevention education and victim advocacy to families, community members, educators, law enforcement, and others, on issues of child safety. We ensure a continuum of care to provide shelter and support, to reunite families whenever possible, and when it is not, to build independent living skills in young people. The Bridge for Youth is a community leader in the development of approaches for youth and their families to resolve problems and develop healthier relationships."

Mental Health

  • Center for Nonviolent Communication: An International Organization : Nonviolent Communication (NVC) is based on the principles of nonviolence-- the natural state of compassion when no violence is present in the heart. NVC begins by assuming that we are all compassionate by nature and that violent strategies, whether verbal or physical, are learned behaviors taught and supported by the prevailing culture. NVC also assumes that we all share the same, basic human needs, and that each of our actions are a strategy to meet one or more of these needs.

Sexual Assault Hotlines

  • Central Minnesota Sexual Assault Center : CMSAC is a 24-hour crisis intervention agency providing direct services to those people affected by any form of sexual violence. The Centers purpose is to offer non-judgmental direct services to victims of sexual assault, their partners, families, coworkers and friends. Call 320-251-4357.

  • Sexual Offense Services (S.O.S.) of Ramsey County : 24-Hour Hotline: 651.643.3006. "Free and confidential services for victims of sexual violence, their partners, families, friends and other concerned persons. No one deserves to be sexually assaulted. Sexual Offense Services (SOS) works to improve community response to the problem of sexual violence, and to create a society that is violence free."
  • Sexual Violence Center : Twin Cities Metro Area: call 612-871-5111 24 hours a day for sexual violence hotline. SVC is an independent non-profit organization working throughout the Twin Cities metro area. Each year, we provide more than 2,000 youth and adults with 24 hour crisis phone service, individual counseling and support groups, advocacy and legal clinics at no cost.

Suicide Prevention Line
