Publisher Table of Contents Alerts
Many journals offer table of contents alerting services. To find out if your favorite journals offer such a service, MDH staff should use the Electronic Journals [MDH Only] web site to locate MDH's electronic journals. Once you've located a journal, look for a link such as "e-Alerts," "Email notification of TOCs," or "Journal Alert." You can also search for a journal's web site to find an alerting service.
Alerting Services by Publisher
There are several publishers who offer alerting services; by using an alerting service, you can skip the hassle of having to sign up for each journal individually. Additionally, publishers' alerting services can provide you with tables of contents for journals the RN Barr Library does not subscribe to. Please note, copyright restrictions and costs may limit the library's ability to provide full-text of non-subscribed journals for our patrons.
