MDH completes destruction of newborn screening test results and blood samples
The Minnesota Department of Health (MDH) has completed the required destruction of newborn screening test results created prior to November 16, 2011, and blood samples collected prior to November 16, 2011. Minnesota Laws 2012, Chapter 292, Article 4, Section 22, requires MDH to notify the public through a general announcement. MDH has already notified the Legislature as required by submitting letters to chairs and ranking minority members of the legislative committees with jurisdiction over health and human services.
