Ken: Lyme disease, West Nile Virus and other diseases from ticks and mosquitoes are warm weather threats in Minnesota. Early summer is primetime to protect yourself against disease carrying ticks, especially when you’re in the woods. Late summer is the time to protect yourself from disease carrying mosquitoes. Even when there don’t seem to be many mosquitoes out at dusk, it takes only a single tick or mosquito bite, to make you sick, so use repellents and fight the bite Minnesota.

Announcer: This message from the Minnesota Department of Health.
