Ken: Farm country in Minnesota is also West Nile Virus country. Mosquitoes can pass this virus onto you with a single bite. Ken Speake here. West Nile Virus can cause serious life changing illness or even death. You’re most likely to get West Nile Virus while outside at dusk or dawn, from July thru September. During these times, be sure to protect yourself from mosquito bites. Use a mosquito repellent that contains DEET or picaridin and fight the bite.
