Opportunities for Public Input on Intractable Pain
Please use the Public Comment Form to submit comments/statements. The Minnesota Department of Health (MDH) has retained Management Analysis and Development (MAD) to administer public comments. Private information submitted during this process, such as name, organization (optional) or other information that could identify an individual, is protected under the Minnesota Data Practices Act. Private information will be removed before it is sent to MDH and it will not be published to the MDH website.

Testimony at public meetings organized around the state
Meetings will be held both in the Twin Cities Metropolitan Area and in outstate locations. The meetings will present an overview of the Minnesota Medical Cannabis Program as well as to give people an opportunity to testify publicly on the question of whether intractable pain should be added to the list of qualifying conditions. These meetings will be held during July-September 2015. Information on specific meeting locations and times is posted on the Office of Medical Cannabis website, MDH Office of Medical Cannabis Community Sessions.
Testimony at Advisory Panel meeting
Individuals can also testify at the second meeting of the Advisory Panel Thursday, September 3, 2015. The meeting will run from 4-9 p.m., with public testimony starting at approximately 6:30 p.m. The meeting will take place at:

The panel will reserve time for public testimony about whether intractable pain should be added to the list of qualifying conditions. Information on the meeting location and time will be posted on the Minnesota Medical Cannabis website as soon as the meeting location is secured.
