Adding New Medical Conditions - Medical Cannabis Program
You may petition the Department of Health to add a qualifying medical condition. The department accepts petitions from June 1 to July 31 each year. Petitions received outside this window will not be considered.
The petition window for 2016 is now closed. Petitions received as of August 1, 2016 proposing an additional qualifying medical condition are listed below. Each condition has an accompanying issue brief, summarizing the condition, treatment options and available research on medical cannabis. - Acquired absence of limb
- Ehlers Danlos Syndrome (EDS)
- Post-traumatic Stress Disorder
