2011 Annual Report Published

The first annual report of the statewide trauma system was recently published. The report describes traumatic injury in Minnesota and trends in admission and acuity levels. One of the key findings of the report is that the trauma system has grown from six designated hospitals in August 2005 to 123 as of January 2012. Now virtually all trauma care in Minnesota (99 percent of trauma admissions) occurs at hospitals participating in the statewide trauma system!
