A special interim meeting of the STAC has been scheduled for November 19, 2013 from 3:30 p.m.-5:30 p.m. Council members will meet via teleconference to discuss a vision for the role of level 3 centers in the statewide trauma system. This will inform possible modifications to the current criteria. Those wishing to listen in to the meeting should contact the trauma system coordinator. A listening station will be set up at the Minnesota Department of Health offices at 85 7th Place East, Suite 220 in St. Paul. This is a listening station only; the STAC will not be taking comments from the audience during this meeting. Participants cannot call in from their location.
STAC members continue to review comments and testimony. Contribute your comments and suggestions. (Non-MDH link) They plan to continue their discussion of this topic at the December 3 meeting. The committee will carefully consider options before making a recommendation to the commissioner.
