Our site provides quick and easy access to current information and resources about teen health for health care providers that work with adolescents. Please use our material in any way that suits your practice.

We have included a screening system for identifying high risk teen behavior. And we have included resources and referrals to help the clinician take care of high risk behaviors.

  1. A Teen Clinic Visit
  2. Screening for Teen Health Risks. Several versions of teen health screens.
  3. Standards and Guidelines for Teen Health. Local, regional, and national guidelines for teen health care.
  4. Resources for Parents. Educational materials, bibliography, web-based resources, and educational videos for parents and families.
  5. Resources for Providers. Reading materials and web-based resources.

This web site was originally developed in part by Christopher Reif, MD, MPH, Director of Clinical Services at Community University Health Care Center (CUHCC) in Minneapolis, and Francesco Leanza, MD, and was funded in part by Turning Point, a Robert Wood Johnson Foundation grant. It continues the work on adolescent health begun by the Minnesota Health Improvement Partnership Adolescent Health Services Action Team in partnership with the Minnesota Department of Health (MDH) in 2001.

The 2006 update was made possible by the efforts of Dr. Christopher Reif, MD, MPH, Katherine Swanson, Project Manager, CUHCC, and Jennifer O’Brien, Adolescent Health Coordinator, MDH.
