State Preventive Health Advisory Committee
The State Preventive Health Advisory Committee is a federally mandated committee associated with the Preventive Health and Health Services Block Grant, chaired by the Commissioner of Health.

Minnesota Public Health Research to Action Network
The Minnesota Public Health Research to Action Network is a partnership of SCHSAC, Minnesota Local Public Health Association, University of Minnesota School of Public Health, and MDH. The network was created to produce important new insights and relevant findings that can be used by practitioners and elected officials to improve public health services, organizations, and systems, and ultimately improve the health of Minnesotans.
The Steering Committee no longer meets regularly.
SCHSAC will continue to be engaged in future projects.

Maternal and Child Health Advisory Task Force
The Maternal and Child Health Advisory Task Force was created by the Minnesota Legislature in 1982 to advise the Commissioner of Health on the health care services/needs of maternal and child health populations in Minnesota, on the use of funds for maternal and child health and children with special health needs administered through MDH, and the priorities and goals for maternal and child health activities.
