Drinking Water in Minnesota Exhibit
Learn about where your drinking water comes from – whether it’s public drinking water or private wells, your water may come from under the ground or from lakes or rivers. Pump water from an underground aquifer and see what happens as water moves from below ground through a public water system.

Superheroes Unite Against Superbugs: Protect your health by using antibiotics only when needed
Explore the world of antibiotic stewardship at the Minnesota One Health Antibiotic Stewardship Collaborative (MOHASC) booth in the Eco Experience Building (north side by the big garage door). Engage with experts from diverse fields, uncover the connection between widespread antibiotic use for humans and animals and the growing threat of antibiotic resistance, learn about the potential contamination of Minnesota's lakes and streams from improper medication disposal, and more.

TPT Nursing Nest
Parents and caregivers can visit the TPT Nursing Nest, presented by Minnesota WIC and the Minnesota Department of Health at the Minnesota State Fair. The TPT Nursing Nest offers a private, distraction-free space to nurse your child, pump, and change diapers while enjoying the State Fair.
Located at the Twin Cities PBS Booth on the corner of Underwood and Lee, between The Perfect Pickle and Sweet Martha’s Cookies.

Mental Health Day
The 7th Annual Mental Health Awareness Day at the Minnesota State Fair is Monday, August 26. The day is organized by the Minnesota State Advisory Council on Mental Health, Subcommittee on Children’s Mental Health, and NAMI-MN to help people learn about mental health and resources in Minnesota to care for our mental health. MDH hosts a table in Dan Patch Park on Mental Health Awareness Day to talk with visitors about the importance of caring for our mental health, provide resources on caring for our mental health, and give information about the 988 Minnesota Lifeline for emotional support.
