This year's awards recognize organizations doing outstanding work to close vaccination gaps, particularly around HPV vaccination.

Immunization Honor Roll

2018 Immunization Honor Roll (PDF)
The immunization honor roll recognizes clinics and counties that have achieved high vaccination rates for the primary childhood series among their 24-35 month old population.

HPV Vaccination Initiation Awards

These awards recognize clinics that had the top HPV initiation rate for 13 year olds associated with their practice in the Minnesota Immunization Information Connection (MIIC). The immunization status is as of Oct. 16, 2018. Clinics were split into three categories—small, medium, and large—based on the number of 13 year olds assessed.

Small clinic winners:

  • Wayzata Children's Clinic - Maple Grove with an 82% HPV initiation rate.
  • Avera Marshall Specialty Clinic with an 81% HPV initiation rate.

Medium clinic winners:

  • Sanford Clinic – Moorhead Pediatric Department with an 83% HPV initiation rate.
  • Southlake Pediatrics – Eden Prairie with an 82% HPV initiation rate.

Large clinic winners:

  • Children's Hospital and Clinics – St. Paul Pediatric Clinic with an 82% HPV initiation rate.
  • HealthPartners Midway Clinic with an 82% HPV initiation rate.

Most Improved HPV Vaccination Initiation Awards

These awards recognize clinics that had the biggest jump in HPV initiation rates from 2017 to 2018 for 13 year olds associated with their practice in MIIC. The immunization status is as of Oct. 16, 2018.

Small clinic winner:

  • North Clinic - Plymouth with a 30% improvement in HPV initiation going from 35% to 65%.

Medium clinic winner:

  • Allina Medical Clinic - Blaine with a 17% improvement in HPV initiation going from 49% to 66%.

Large clinic winner:

  • Pediatric Services - St. Louis Park with a 42% improvement in HPV initiation going from 7% to 49%.
