  • Baby Cry Cards
    "It's not easy taking care of a baby. Babies can be fussy and cry a lot." is the message of these colorful 5.5" x 8.5" cards. This Shaken Baby Syndrome Prevention resource is available in English, Hmong, Somali and Spanish.

  • Woman's Right To Know Materials
    The Women's Right to Know booklet "If you are pregnant: Information on fetal development, abortion and alternatives" is a valuable resource for Positive Alternatives grantees. It contains the Commissioner of Health information referred to in the Positive Alternatives statute. The booklet is available in English and Spanish.

  • Developmental Wheel
    The Developmental Wheel describes development children have by the time they reach certain ages (birth to five), as well as related nutrition, hearing, speech, language and vision information. Copies of the Developmental Wheels are available free to Minnesota families and organizations through their county´s public health department. The Minnesota Department of Health is no longer distributing the Developmental Wheel. Contact the Follow Along Program Coordinator in your county's public health department to request copies of the wheel in English, Spanish, Somali, or Hmong. The content of the Developmental Wheel is also available.

  • SIDS/SUIDS/Safe Sleep Education Materials
    Download or order flyers, doorhangers and fact sheets on safe sleep and SIDS in English and Spanish from NICHD. General materials as well as those targeting African American and American Indian/Alaskan Native communities.
