Special reports - Minnesota Student Survey

Special reports are prepared by researchers from the Department of Health or other agencies, and may vary from year to year.

Key indicators of health and educational equity for specific population groups: Minnesota Student Survey 2016 (XLS), 2017. This spreadsheet presents equity data for different population groups based on race, ethnicity, economic status, sexual orientation, and gender identity. Data for sexual orientation and gender identity are available only for grades 9 and 11. Data is from the 2016 Minnesota Student Survey. There is a separate sheet for each grade.

Invisible youth: The health of lesbian, gay, bisexual, and questioning adolescents in Minnesota (PDF), 2015, Rainbow Health Initiative (now JustUs Health). The Rainbow Health Initiative authored this report; it presents data from the 2013 Minnesota Student Survey.

The health and well-being of Minnesota's adolescents of color and American Indians: A data book (PDF), 2012. This report presents data on a variety of health topics for African-American, American Indian, Asian, Hispanic, and White adolescents. It draws data from the 2010 Minnesota Student Survey and other sources.
