Adolescent Immunization Coverage in Minnesota
Current state rates from the National Immunization Survey (NIS) and the Minnesota Immunization Information Connection (MIIC). The NIS is a Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) survey and MIIC is an immunization information system operated by the Minnesota Department of Health (MDH).

NIS vaccine coverage definitions
- ≥1 Tdap: 1 or more doses of tetanus toxoid, reduced diphtheria toxoid, and acellular pertussis (Tdap) vaccine at or after age 10 years.
- ≥1 MenACWY: 1 or more doses of meningococcal conjugate (MenACWY) vaccine or meningococcal-unknown type vaccine.
- ≥1 HPV: 1 or more doses of the nine-valent, quadrivalent or bivalent human papillomavirus (HPV) vaccine.
- HPV UTD (up-to-date): 3 or more doses of HPV vaccine or 2 doses when the first HPV vaccine dose was initiated prior to age 15 years and there was at least 5 months minus 4 days between the first and second dose.

MIIC vaccine coverage definitions
