Tdap
MIIC: Percent of adolescents with 1 or more doses of the tetanus toxoid, reduced diphtheria toxoid, and acellular pertussis (Tdap) vaccine at any age.
NIS: Percent of adolescents with 1 or more doses of the tetanus toxoid, reduced diphtheria toxoid, and acellular pertussis vaccine at or after age 10 years.
According to the NIS, Tdap coverage in Minnesota is similar to the national average and remains consistent. According to MIIC, Tdap coverage rates remain consistent.
Meningococcal
MIIC: Percent of adolescents with 1 or more doses of Meningococcal ACWY vaccine (MenACWY).
NIS: Percent of adolescents with 1 or more doses of MenACWY vaccine or meningococcal vaccine of unknown type.
According to the NIS, meningococcal coverage in Minnesota rose and is higher than the national average. According to MIIC, meningococcal coverage rates remain consistent.
≥1 HPV
Percent of adolescents with 1 or more doses of the 9-valent, quadrivalent, and/or bivalent human papillomavirus vaccine.
According to the NIS, ≥1 HPV coverage in Minnesota is similar to the national average and on the rise. According to MIIC, ≥1 HPV rates continue to rise.
HPV Up-To-Date (UTD)
MIIC: Starting in 2017, percent of adolescents who received 3 or more doses of HPV vaccine or received 2 or more doses of HPV vaccine when the first dose was initiated prior to age 15 years and there were at least five months minus four days between the first and second doses. Prior to 2017, percent of adolescents who received 3 or more doses of HPV vaccine and received the first dose at least 6 months before July 1 of the reporting year.
NIS: Percent of adolescents with 3 or more doses of human papillomavirus vaccine (HPV) and those with 2 doses when the first HPV vaccine dose was initiated prior to age 15 years and there were at least five months minus four days between the first and second doses.
According to the NIS, HPV UTD coverage in Minnesota is higher than the national average and is on the rise. According to MIIC, HPV UTD coverage rates are on the rise.
