Trauma Education for Hospital Nurses
The Trauma Education for Hospital Nurses are a series of 12 modules. This is an optional tool for use by hospitals which meet the Trauma Education requirements for inpatient nurses. Please request access to download the following e-learning modules.

Trauma Program 101
Trauma Program 101 Course will be held in St. Cloud on Friday, October 11th from 9:00- 4:00. The Trauma Program 101 registration is now open. All trauma program leaders (trauma program managers/coordinators, medical directors/medical advisors, CEO/administrators) of Level 3 and Level 4 Trauma Hospitals are encouraged to attend. Nursing CEUs will be offered.
Highlights of the course will include:
- Overview of the state trauma system
- Understand the trauma system designation criteria as an overview of the trauma program
- Learn basic trauma performance improvement (PI) concepts
- Access educational and networking opportunities for continuous growth of your trauma program
The next Trauma Program 101 Course will be on Thursday, April 3rd, 2025, in St. Cloud. Registration is not yet open for this offering.
Performance Improvement Series
A Performance Improvement (PI) series will follow the Trauma Program 101 Course. This PI series is intended to be an interactive and in-depth learning of the topics introduced at the 101 course.
The PI series will be offered virtually from 9:30-11:30 am on the following dates.

While the Trauma Program 101 Course and the PI series can be taken in sequential order, it's not necessary. Take these courses as you can. All of these offerings will be repeated on an ongoing basis.
