Sexual Risk Avoidance Education Performance Measures
As a recipient of the Sexual Risk Avoidance Education (SRAE) program funding, MDH is required by Congress to participate in the collection and analyses of performance measures. SRAE sub-awardees are required to collect the performance measures from their implementation site(s) and report those data to MDH. Sub-awardees are required to report on participant and program measures separately for each program model or curriculum implemented at their program site. MDH validates and reports the data to the Family and Youth Services Bureau (FYSB) and the Administration for Children Youth and Family (ACYF) the federal funding entity. There are three categories of performance measures:
- Measures of structure, cost, and support for program implementation
- Program measures: measures of program delivery and program engagement for each program model
- Participant measures: participant characteristics, perceptions of program experiences and perception of program effects for those served under each program model
