Monthly Fatal Drug Overdose Snapshot: December 2025

The monthly fatal overdose snapshot is a brand-new product that provides a view of the prior month's overdose death data. This snapshot was created by MDH and is close to real time data. 

Each monthly snapshot will highlight the following measures:

• Suspected overdose deaths compared to the same month for the prior year.
• Last 24 months of confirmed and updated provisional overdose deaths in Minnesota.
• Suspected overdose deaths compared to the previous year for the relevant time period.
