Gonorrhea

Gonorrhea, also known as "the clap" is caused by the bacterium Neisseria gonorrhoeae. The bacteria can infect the soft skin covering the openings of the body such as the urethra, vagina, cervix, anus and the throat. Gonorrhea can be cured with antibiotics.
