Health Care Practitioner Satisfaction Survey
The Office of Medical Cannabis conducted a satisfaction survey in August 2021 to gather feedback and opinions from health care practitioners who certify patients in Minnesota's Medical Cannabis Program.
The survey (administered via REDCap) was emailed to 1,894 health care practitioners who are registered with the program.
The data collection period closed after two months, with 252 completed surveys. Several emails returned as undeliverable due to an incorrect email address or if a health care practitioner was no longer practicing.
A response rate of 13.3% is conservative, as those health care practitioners who had undeliverable emails were not taken out of the denominator (1,894 health care practitioners).
About the Survey
The survey had 20 questions that covered the following topics:
- Experience with certifying patients
- Use of the Medical Cannabis Registry
- Use of the Office of Medical Cannabis website
- Perspectives on ways to improve the program
No comparison data is available because this is the first time a satisfaction survey was conducted with health care practitioners in the program.
