There are 5,487 active organizations using MIIC. Note: The number of active organizations in MIIC depends on how the organization chose to be set up as a MIIC user. For example, some health systems and school districts are set up as one "primary care clinic" or one "school."

  • All local public health agencies in the state use MIIC.
  • "Specialty provider" includes: OB-Gyns and other specialists as well as occupational health organizations.
  • "Other" includes: community vaccinators, family and social service organizations, and correctional facilities.

Note: During the COVID-19 pandemic, there was a decrease in active school/childcare organizations in MIIC due to distance learning models and other factors.

MIIC Immunization Record Requests

Between July 2020 and June 2021, members of the public made 23,823 MIIC immunization record requests. MDH responded to all requests and approximately 95 percent of requested records were found in MIIC.
