Industrial Radiographer Exams

Any individual who examines the structure of materials by nondestructive methods utilizing ionizing radiation (radioactive sources or x-rays) to make radiographic images must be certified if they operate in Minnesota. Certification means that individuals meet established radiation safety, testing, and experience criteria. (Note: Individuals who use a cabinet x-ray or an x-ray fluorescent analyzer are not required to be certified.)

More information about the IRRSP exam The American Society For Nondestructive Testing website.

To apply for the IRRSP exam you must complete the application that is located on the ASNT Exam Schedules Web page.
