Veritrace is the State of Minnesota’s security-paper supplier as of April 1, 2026. Each county office must setup a customer account with Veritrace before placing their first order. Please visit the Sharepoint site for county offices to find the:

Reporting problems

Notify the Office of Vital Records regarding paper problems via the Security Paper Problem and Resolution Report (PDF). Contact the Office of Vital Records as soon as possible in the event of security paper theft or fraud.
