2023 Capacity Strengthening Initiative RFP

The Minnesota Department of Health Center for Health Equity released a new request for proposals (RFP) for the Capacity Strengthening Initiative, a grant program established to empower and uplift the ability of community organizations to receive state funding that is focused on improving the health and well-being of Minnesotans.
The initiative focuses on helping community and faith-based organizations that serve people of color, American Indians, LGBTQIA+ communities, and people with disabilities.

Community review process
The Center for Health Equity is seeking approximately 50 volunteers to participate in the grant review process. To learn more about the review process and to sign up to become a reviewer, please visit the 2023 CSG Community Review Process page. Please note that any individuals who work or volunteer for, or who are on the board of an applicant organization, are not eligible to be part of the review process due to potential conflicts of interest.
