    The Healthcare-Associated Infections (HAIs) in Minnesota Acute Care Hospitals Annual Report summarizes statewide NHSN HAI data reported by Minnesota acute care hospitals participating in the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services Inpatient Prospective Payment System. This report also summarizes the progress of Minnesota hospitals implementing CDC's antibiotic stewardship core elements as reported to NHSN.

    The Minnesota Hospital Quality Report is designed to provide information to consumers and providers about the quality and safety of care in Minnesota hospitals. It was developed by the Minnesota Hospital Quality Partnership, which includes the Minnesota Hospital Association and Stratis Health (Minnesota's Quality Improvement Organization).

      Legislation that required hospitals to begin publicly reporting specific hospital-acquired infections by January, 1 2009.
