Registration for MDH Trainings
Registration for on-demand learning is held in the Minnesota Department of Health (MDH) Learning Center. Each individual staff member will need to log in or follow the instructions to create their own account and register for a prerecorded webinar or training.
NOTE: When registering in the MDH Learning Center, please include the name of the organization that you work for and your professional role. (RD, RN, WIC CPA, PEER, etc.)
To Locate Trainings: Log on to the MDH Learning Center and search keyword “WIC” to view and register for available trainings. Detailed information about the training can be found on the registration page.

Improving the Health of WIC Participants through the Nutrition Assessment: Practical Applications

Description: Our speaker, Melissa Nelson, will discuss the valuable role accurate and thorough nutrition assessments play in empowering WIC staff to fulfill the mission of the WIC program to improve the health and well-being of women, infants, and children by addressing their nutritional needs comprehensively and proactively. Attendees will gain valuable insights into using efficient assessment techniques, tailoring assessment questions to meet the unique needs of each participant, and effectively using the tools available.
